Itinerary

Day 1: Chau Doc - Phnom Penh

07:00: Pick up from the hotel. Take 2 hour boat trip to visit the floating fish farm, floating houses, Cham minority people and the weaving village. Transfer to the express boat for departure to Phnom Penh via Vinh Xuong (newly opened) border. On arrival, pick up and transfer to hotel.

After a short rest and lunch, we start sightseeing around the busiest city of Cambodia and pay a visit to the National Museum, Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, Independence Monument, Russian Market and Wat Phnom. Then it's back to the hotel for dinner, and a free night to explore or relax. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 2: Phnom Penh - Siem Reap

After breakfast at the hotel, the air-con bus will depart to Siem Reap. Bus leaves Phnom Penh behind and crosses the Japanese Friendship Bridge to Kompong Thom, where we will stop for lunch. Check into hotel on arrival.

After a short rest, we will tour the town, seeing Prasat Ravan, Banteay Dei, Srah Srang, Ta Prohm, Takeo, Thommanon, Chau Say and Tevoda. Then back to the hotel for dinner and the evening free to do as you wish. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Siem Reap - Phnom Penh

After breakfast, we will tour to the Seventh Wonder of the World - the magical temple city of Angkor Wat. We will also visit South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Baphoun, Terrace of the Elephants, Terrace of the Leper King. After this, we will have lunch and head back to Phnom Penh. Dinner will be served, with the night free for leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 4: Phnom Penh - Chau Doc

After breakfast, we transfer to the boat dock. Speed boat takes us along the Mekong River to the border for immigration and customs. Bus transfer back to Chau Doc.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation will be charged as follow:

More than 7 days prior to trip departure. No charge.
Within 7 days before arrival: 10% charge
Within 5 days before arrival: 40% charge
Within 3 days before arrival: 60% charge
Within 48 hours before arrival: 100% charge

Final payment is due 2 days in advance of the tour.

These payments are due in our office or submitted online 3 days prior to the departure date. If reservations are made less than 2 days prior to departure, payment in full is required at the time of booking. If final payments are not received on time, Mekong Tours may cancel the reservation and invoke the cancellation fee.

Except if otherwise agreed by Mekong Tours, Client's payment shall be executed by cash, credit card or traveller's cheques. Except for cash payment, a service charge may apply (3% of the card holder). In cases where credit facilities have been agreed with the Client/Agent, payment shall be executed by swift or telegraphic transfer to the appropriate Mekong Tours bank account. Any bank charges levied by the sending bank relating to transfers to must be paid by the Mekong Tour Client/Agent.

Payment will be settled through our bank account at least 2 days before arrival

Refund of Unused services

No refunds or exchange can be made in respect of accommodation, meals, sightseeing tours, transports or any other services which are included in the tour prices but not utilized by the tour member.

Voucher

Voucher will be issued by Mekong Tours after the booked trip is confirmed and payment is completed. A service voucher will be sent by email/fax or snail mail to passenger.

Liability and Insurance

Mekong Tours is not responsible for any loss, injury or damage sustained by passengers incurred due to delay, accidents, natural disaster, political actions and unrest must be borne by passengers. Passengers are required to have full travel insurance. Should this occur, we will endeavour to substitute suitable arrangement of similar value. Participation on any tour implies full agreement to above conditions by all parties involved.

Confirmation

All confirmations are generally confirmed by return fax or e-mail within 2 working days. In case immediate confirmation is not possible, we will inform you of the booking status at the time of reservation.

Children Policy

Child discount:

- Under 2 years: Free of Charge
- From 2 to 5 years old: 50% of adult's fare
- From 5 to 12 years: 75% of adult's fare
